An Angus Place Partnership Exhibition exploring the town’s extraordinary tradition of Pageantry in the 20th Century. The Arbroath Abbey Pageant happened nineteen times, drawing together communities of people from across the town to consider Arbroath’s important history in contemporary life. The exhibition focuses on the making of the pageant and celebrates the community effort involved in creating the events. Showcasing artefacts and photographs from the collection together with contemporary pieces created by residents and artists.
