Arbroath Abbey 2020 Festival Concert

 

‘Of Light Breaking’

Words by Grahame Davies and from the Declaration of Arbroath.

 

 

Commissioned by the people of Arbroath to celebrate the 700th year of the Declaration of Arbroath 1320-2020. The Arbroath 2020 Festival Concert will take place in the grounds of Arbroath Abbey.

 

This is the premier performance of the specially commissioned choral work by renowned composer Paul Mealor and words writen by Graham Davies.

The performance will be sung by 300 voices, drawn from Angus choirs and accompanied by the internationally celebrated Arbroath Instrumental band.

Access:

This is standing event, there is restricted amount of seats reserved for mobility impaired. There will be wheel Chair space allocated at the front.

Level access over grass.

 

 

Performance times:

Doors open 6:00pm

Performance starts at 6:30pm

 

Duration 45 mins

 

(This is an open Air Event: Please dress warm and bring water proofs/ umbrella)

Ticket purchase is limited to 4 per sale/ person

An adapted Toilet is next to the visitor centre.

 

Dogs:

Assistance dogs are permitted.

We want to make sure that everyone has a fair chance of buying tickets. A ticket limit is there to make sure the first people in the queue don’t buy up all of the tickets and leave nothing behind.
