Individual Awards
Club Volunteer of the Year Award
This award recognises an individual in a non-coaching role who has made a positive impact within their club in 2019.
- Open to anyone aged 14 and over
- Must be an Angus resident or affiliated to a club based in Angus
- Must be voluntary basis
- Not-for-profit club
Coach of the Year Award
This award recognises the achievements and commitment of a coach throughout 2019 who has contributed greatly to their athletes and or/team.
- Open to anyone aged 16 and over
- Must be an Angus resident or affiliated to a club based in Angus
- Must be voluntary basis
- Not-for-profit club
Outstanding Commitment Award
This award recognises the achievements of an individual's role or number of roles within the sporting community, who has demonstrated an exceptional contribution over a number of years.
Nominees must not be a performer/competitor. Previous winners will not be considered for this award.
- Must have been in role/roles for a minimum of 10 years
- Must be an Angus resident or affiliated to a club based in Angus
- Must be voluntary basis
- Not-for-profit club
School Sport Volunteer of the Year Award
This award recognises the achievements made by an individual to extra-curricular sport within an Angus school in 2019.
- Open to anyone aged 14 and over
- Must be voluntary basis
Sports Personality of the Year Award
This award recognises the outstanding performance of an individual at national level or above during 2019.
- Open to anyone aged 18 and over
- Must be an Angus resident or affiliated to a club based in Angus
- Includes those performing at Paralympic and elite levels
Sports Personality of the Year Award for People with a Disability
This award recognises the performance of an individual with a physical, sensory or learning disability during 2019.
- Must be an Angus resident or affiliated to a club based in Angus
Young Sports Personality of the Year Award
This award recognises the outstanding performance of a junior athlete at national level or above during 2019.
- Open to anyone aged 17 and below
- Must be an Angus resident or affiliate to a club based in Angus
- Includes those performing at Paralympic and elite levels
Group Awards
Club of the Year Award
This award recognises the achievements of a club at any level who has demonstrated success within the areas of club development, competition/leagues and new projects during 2019.
- Must be an Angus-based club
- Must be a not-for-profit club
Team of the Year Award
This award recognises the achievements of a voluntary sports team who has demonstrated their success in a competition or an event during 2019.
- Open to adult and junior teams
- More than one team per club can be nominated
- Team must be part of an Angus-based club
- Must be a not-for-profit club
