Football

Mini Kickers 3-5 years

Mini Kickers is a fun footballing session for 3-5 year olds. An extremely popular class that allows pre-school children to build confidence in a group whilst developing their movement and coordination skills. All of this whilst learning some football skills with the encouragement of coaches and parents!

Please see our Junior Timetable to find the sessions nearest to you.

Football Centres 5-12 years

ANGUSalive's Sport & Leisure facilities offer children aged between 5-12 years an opportunity to participate in a safe, fun and enjoyable football environment.

All participants are encouraged to learn basic technical skills whilst taking part in small sided games (3v3 or 4v4) which provides more opportunities to have contact with the ball in attacking and defending situations.

Please see our Junior Timetable to find the sessions nearest to you.

Holiday Programmes

ANGUSalive offers holiday programmes across the county during Easter, Summer and October holiday periods for Mini Kickers (3-4 years old), 5-7 years & 8-12 year olds.

All of our holiday programmes are delivered within ANGUSalive Sports Centres, including on astroturf pitches. Each day will focus on the development of young players and will have specific sessions tailor made for each age group that will enhance the players ability to develop their football technique and knowledge of the game.

Club Development

The development of grassroots football clubs is essential to the expansion of football in Scotland. They are the cornerstone of development and the most effective long-term method of delivery for the sport.

A key objective for ANGUSalive & The Scottish FA is to support the growth and development of football clubs regardless if you are a one-team club or aspire to become a community football club.

Quality Mark

Designed to recognise the hard work and dedication of member clubs and teams, the Quality Mark Award scheme aims to reward those who have a desire to be the very best the can be.

To gain one of our awards, Bronze (Standard), Silver (Development), Gold (Community) or Platinum (Legacy) your club must achieve each of our related list of criteria. Aimed at improving or supporting management, development structures, administration, planning and welfare, these criteria help each club as they strive to improve.

Scottish FA Club Accreditation

Coach Education

If you want to be part of our growing community of qualified coaches then the best place to start is with a Scottish FA Coach Education course, or coaching course.

Courses are designed for budding coaches making their first steps into coaching. The Scottish FA operates five coach education pathways.
