Located in a beautiful rural setting, Angus Archives is a treasure trove of 800 years of the history of Angus and its people. Our collections cover Arbroath, Brechin, Carnoustie, Forfar, Kirriemuir, Montrose, Monifieth and rural areas across Angus.
Angus Archives is a great place to start or build on your family history. We have rich and varied sources to help the family historian. Our team have a wealth of experience to help you make the most of our unique documents, photographs and indexes.

We have a vast and fascinating photographic collection documenting the built and social history of Angus over more than a hundred years. All our photographs are available for purchase or can be licenced for reproduction or publication.
