Monikie Country Park boasts beautiful woodland and parkland with a variety of things for the family to see and do. Monikie Country Park's many attractions include adventurous land and water activities, self-led trails, marquee and BBQ hire and an adventure play park for the kids.
Adventurous activities available within the park include: team building, rafting, high ropes course, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, 160 metre zipline and mountain biking. Qualified staff are available for sessions and RYA courses, watersports equipment can also be hired throughout the summer in the park.
Denfind Bird Sanctuary, with its bird hides, is an ideal place to view a wide variety of wetland birds throughout the year.

There is plenty to do here at Monikie Country Park.
If you are interested in exploring the park, we have a wide range of walks and trails which are suitable for both walkers and cyclists. Wildlife enthusiasts can come watch the wildlife and bird hides throughout the park.
Looking to keep the kids entertained? Head to the Childrens Adventure Playground.
Information regarding self-led activities, involving simple map reading, such as Orienteering and Animalteering can be found in the Ranger Centre.

Facilities for Hire
Watersports hire (available May to September) - windsurfing equipment; canoes; kayaks, sailing dinghies and paddleboards.
Marquees, BBQs and urns can be hired from May to September for large picnics, special events, wedding and birthday parties.
Outdoor Adventure Activities
The large watersports site operates from April to October and includes paddleboarding, windsurfing, sailing, rafting, kayaking and canoeing; it provides a fun day out whatever your ability. Take part in taster sessions, individual instruction, group activities or Royal Yacht Association and British Canoe Union courses.
Why not take on the challenge of the High Ropes course, an exciting high tree top activity suitable for all abilities and a 160 metre zipline.
We also offer Mountain Biking, Raft Building and Team Building sessions that can be tailor made for your requirements.

We can advise you regarding Work Experience Placements, Duke of Edinburgh, Saltire and John Muir Awards. Why not join us on our Toad Patrol (March - May)?
Education
Educational and Community Groups are welcome all year. Countryside Rangers are available to lead fieldwork activities and visit schools where teachers can discuss ideas for projects. Groups and individuals are regularly involved with the Rangers in conservation projects, orienteering or badge work. The Rangers are happy to visit organisations and give illustrated talks.
Parking
There is ample parking within the Country Park. Pay at the car park.

Parking, toilet with baby change facilities. Café, trails and Ranger Centre are all accessible.
Dog Friendly
Dogs, under control, are welcomed all year round except in children's play park. Please observe signs for restrictions.
