Angus Glens Walking Festival 2021

Important Update - Angus Glens Walking Festival 2021

ANGUSalive would like to share the disappointing news that our Angus Glens Walking Festival, originally planned for 28 & 29 August and 4 & 5 September 2021, will not be going ahead.

When we shared the Save the Dates communication in late March this year, we had hoped that we would be able to programme a walking festival which would provide a similar experience to those we have organised in previous years.

Unfortunately due to the ongoing pandemic, the ever-changing guidance and the lack of information relating to what restrictions will look like beyond level 0 (provisionally planned for 9 August 2021), we have taken the difficult decision to not run the event this year.

The Countryside Adventure team at ANGUSalive is exploring options for the festival next year. We apologise that we haven’t been able to communicate sooner and for any inconvenience caused in what continues to be a challenging operating environment. We hope that our loyal festival walkers will continue to support us and return next year to enjoy our programme – as our plans develop we’ll be in touch with you about what you can start to look forward to in 2022.

Feel free to add yourself to our mailing list (below) to be one of the first informed when our programme returns.

Meanwhile, please visit our What's on page for our current and upcoming activities at our country parks.

We’d like to thank you for your support, patience and understanding at this time.

Acknowledge your own level of fitness before. Check out our different walk grades.
