What we need and why
ANGUSalive is the ‘Data Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us.
We collect personal data including name and contact information of those making the nominations and of persons nominated for awards
We also collate information on the contribution made by the persons nominated for awards. This may include descriptions of community or professional work carried out by individuals, details of their personal achievements or circumstances.
This information is used to manage the nominations, for the selection process, to organise and to participate in the awards ceremony as well as publicity for the awards.
Your information will also be used for statistical purposes.
What we do with it
ANGUSalive maintains data protection controls in line with the General Data Protection Regulation, other data protection legislation and its own Information Security Policy to ensure the effective and secure processing of your personal information.
Your personal information is held on servers within the European Economic Area (EEA) and processed by our staff and our trusted information system service providers in the UK. No third parties have access to your personal data unless permitted by law.
Who we share your information with
The information will be shared with the independent selection panel to assess the nominations received.
We will send the winners nomination forms, containing personal data, to sportscotland to be considered for the Coaches, Officials and Volunteers (COV) Awards. If winners do not wish to be put forward, they must notify ANGUSalive.
How long we keep it
We will keep your nomination information for one year from the date of the award ceremony it was submitted for, after which it is deleted/destroyed.
