Be the Difference: Join ANGUSalive Board of Directors and make an impact in Angus!

Join the Board of Directors to help us inspire the community!

The charity ANGUSalive is the culture, sport and leisure trust for the county of Angus and has been operating since December 2015.  We offer residents and visitors to Angus a fabulous range of venues, activities and events to enjoy all year.

At ANGUSalive our dedicated team are ‘changing lives by inspiring healthy, active and creative lifestyle choices’ through the use of our sports centres, country parks, theatres and venues, museums, galleries, archives and libraries.

As a not-for-profit organisation, every penny is reinvested back into the services we deliver.

Join our team to support the charity and help shape our future direction.

We’re looking for people from all walks of life and all backgrounds to join our Board as Non-Executive Directors.

A Non-Executive Director is a voluntary role giving members a great opportunity to do something different from their day job, learn about a new organisation as well as help make an impact and a real difference. You’ll work alongside senior members of the charity as well as people from our partner organisations which could help grow your own skills as well as drive our charity forward.

Meetings take place, on average, every eight weeks with on-going training and development days provided.

Whilst experience of cultural, sport or leisure organisations would be beneficial, it is not essential. We are, however, looking for people with an interest in the services we deliver which play such an important role in the lives of residents and visitors across Angus.

You will also have passion, motivation and most importantly commitment to take on a leadership role, along with professional knowledge and experience in at least one of the following areas:
• Business Development

• Policy Development

• Financial Planning

• Strategic Planning

These fixed term roles are not remunerated however reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. Trustees and Officers liability insurance is in place.
